Just as everything else that the Leibers have done in their business as well as personal lives, this exhibition of ukiyo-e prints is tribute to their outstanding dedication to taste and connoisseurship. This collection has been put together over the last fifty years basically in New York City. The Leibers have had the same fascination with Japanese art in the form of woodblock prints shown by such great artistic talents as Vincent van Gogh, James Abbott McNeil Whistler, Claude Monet, Edgar Degas, Mary Cassett, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Frank Lloyd Wright and James Mitchner.
