The Leiber Museum collection of fine Japanese prints will be on view beginning Saturday, May 29. The exhibition represents more than fifty years of collecting by Gerson and Judith Leiber.
Their collection is distinguished by a fine, discriminating connoisseurship that was also apparent in their collection of antique Chinese porcelains, which are on permanent exhibition in the Museum.
The Museum also houses a permanent collection of Judith Leiber handbags. Indeed, the Leibers’ highly informed aesthetic sensitivity has been represented by numerous and varied collections of art at the Museum, and all have been available to the public at no charge.
There is no charge to view the Japanese exhibition at The Leiber Museum, which is open to the public on Saturdays and Sundays from 1 PM to 4 PM.
